This fall for 4 days and 4 nights, the Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club offers the exclusive Tournament Hunting Clinic on the grounds of the MHHC. The clinic includes food lodging, targets, ammunition, and tournament sets for pheasant and partridge, plus individual instruction on how to be a better tournament hunter. If you have a dog, you’re welcome to bring it, or you can use the professional bird dogs at the Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club. There will be chances every day to improve your shooting skills on the largest sporting clays course in the United States. Most important, you’ll be able to advance skills like dog handling and working with tournament game birds. There will be a total of 6 competition sets during your clinic, including 2 Top Gun pheasant sets and 4 partridge sets, using both Hungarian and Chukkar partridge. Your instructors will be experienced, successful tournament hunters who will work with you individually to teach and improve your tournament skills. You will also have the opportunity to judge and set birds (very important aspects to the tournament game). There’s never been a more fun way to learn! |
