For 4 days and 4 nights, the Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club offers the exclusive Waterfowl Clinic on the grounds of the MHHC. The clinic includes food lodging, targets, ammunition, and individual instruction on how to be a better hunter. If you have a dog, you’re welcome to bring it, or you can use the professional bird dogs at the Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club. There will be chances every day to improve your shooting skills on the largest sporting clays course in the United States, and to learn more about dog handling and waterfowl. The Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club offers outstanding accommodations, single occupancy and delicious food as part of your clinic package. Perhaps most important, though, are the instructors who will help you become a better hunter. Skill sessions will include classes to test various types of shotguns, practice a wide variety of shots (150 shots per day!), strategies for approaching the field, plus lessons in game preparation and wild game cooking. There will be all the latest and best equipment for waterfowl hunting, including various decoys, calls, boats, motors and canoes. The clinic will teach you how to use and become expert at decoy setting, blind building, concealment and other invaluable duck and goose hunting strategies. Your days will be full with ways to experience and improve your skills. The clinic is open to members and non-members over 19 years of age, and is the best way available to accelerate ones experience, comfort and skills in the field. The group is limited to 8 hunters, to maximize individual instruction. There’s never been a more fun way to learn!
