For over 25 years the German Shorthair Pointers at the Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club have been bred, trained and competed at the nation’s highest levels. Puppies

The Minnesota Horse & Hunt Club’s German shorthair breeding program has a reputation for producing quality pointers bred for style, versatility, and temperament. They're at home in the field and on the hearth. The line has been carefully developed with great noses, good field speed that can be “opened up” if desired, strong retrieves and a love of water. All pups, started and finished dogs are tested for hips and eyes and all dogs are guaranteed with our replacement guarantee.

Started & Finished Dogs

We offer German shorthair pointers available in all ages and levels of training. We are sure to have not only a dog that meets your needs, but one that is sure to exceed your expectations.

The Club maintains about 30 professional hunting dogs at all times for use by the Club and its guides, and likes to place them in homes by their 4th year. You can get on the list for one of these professional hunting dogs, with thousands of birds under their collars, if you want a truly finished dog.

Puppies are usually available and reservation lists, by litter, can be accessed online.
